Summer Camp
WOW! What a summer! It’s over 100 degrees outside as I write this. But there’s another side to the summer of 2022 about which I’m so excited. June brought us an unusual week of summer camp for our 5th-grade-up Pathfinders kids. The bus broke down in Battle Mountain on the way back and our kids didn’t get home until 2 a.m. Always some issues, BUT GOD (my favorite word combination in Scripture) turned awful into awesome. As a result of decisions made to follow Jesus, we now have 24 kids in discipleship training every Wednesday night. If you come to our annual banquet, you’ll hear about 9 year-old girls who are on fire for Jesus!
Annual Banquet
Which provides a great segway to………..Friday evening, October 20, is our annual banquet. We had to cancel two banquets due to COVID restrictions, but we’re ready this year to bring you a real night to remember. Dr. Wess Stafford, president emeritus of Compassion International will be our speaker, we’ll have a great meal provided by Nothing To It!, a silent auction, and much more.
